The mind is nothing but a sequence of thoughts, one after another. The source of these thoughts is the basic I notion of the EGO which is the primary expression of the SELF. The EGO's Experiences of the world come in the form of Sukha or Dhukka in mind. When you trace out where the I comes from, you just sink in the "Pure Consciousness " .
